Eid Adha 1432

The meaning of Qurban
sacrifice of an animal slaughtered for the sake of Allah

The time of Qurban
can only be performed during the three days of Eid, namely the 10th, 11th and 12th of Zulhijjah

The animals of Qurban
Goat (male/female, at least one year of age)
Sheep (male/female, at least six months of age)
Cow, ox buffalo (least two years of age)
Camel (male/female, at least five year of age)

One head of goat or sheep is enough only for one person's Qurban. But as for all other animals like cow, buffalo or camel, one head of each is equal to seven offerings thus allowing seven persons to offer Qurban jointly in one such animal.

Neither their flesh reaches Allah nor their blood; it is your piety that reaches Him. He has subjected these animals (to you) that you may magnify Allah for the guidance He has bestowed upon you. Give glad tidings, (O Prophet), to those who do good.
[Al-Haj ; 37]

Mencintai Dalam Diam

Kalau kita sukakan seseorang, jangan beritahu si dia. Nanti Allah kurangkan rasa cinta padanya. Tapi luahkan pada Allah, beritahulah Allah kerana Allah Maha mengetahui siapa jodoh kita. Cintai dia dalam diam. Dari kejauhan dengan kesederhanaan dan keikhlasan. Jika benar cinta itu kerana Allah, maka biarkanlah ia mengalir mengikut aliran Allah kerana hakikatnya ia berhulu dari Allah maka ia pun berhilir hanya kepada Allah.

"Segala sesuatu Kami ciptakan berpasang-pasangan supaya kamu mengingat kebesaran Allah."
[Adz Dzariyat : 49]

[HR. Al-Hakim]

Tragedi Sahur 1432H

My sister told me that my nephew enjoy getting up for Sahur. I guess because he is getting up when it's still dark outside and he feel like it's something exciting and different. One day, my sister didn't wake up for sahur. Tak terkejut so pagi tu before hantar my nephew to school, my sister told my nephew if he tired to fast today, he can eat before go to school. So my nephew pon makan la. After pick up my nephew from school, my sister ask him, "Makan tak kat school tadi?". He said no. So my sister bagitau nanti bila sampai rumah die boleh makan. Tetiba die tanye, "Boleh ke Emir makan sebelum azan maghrib?". My sister said yes. Then he laugh. So loud. Then my sister said, "Wahh, happy nye sebab tak puasa?". My nephew said, "Bukan Emir yang ketawa tapi tummy Emir yang ketawa." Hahahahaha... So funny....

Niat & Doa (II)

 Ya Allah
Sesungguhnya aku lemah tanpa petunjukMu...Aku buta tanpa bimbinganMu...
Aku cacat tanpa hidayahMU...Aku hina tanpa rahmatMU...
Ya Allah
Aku selalu membuat dosa...Aku sering melakukan kesalahan...
dengan rahmatMu...engkau ampunkanlah dosa-dosaku...
kuatkan hati dan semangatku...tabahkanlah aku menghadapi cubaanMu...
bukalah hatiku untuk menghayati agamaMU...bimbinglah aku...
Ya Allah
Hanya padaMu kupohon segala harapan...kerana aku pasrah dengan dugaanMU...
kerana aku sedar hinanya aku...kerana aku hamba yang lemah yang sering keliru...
kerana aku leka dengan keindahan duniaMu...
kerana kurang kesabaranku menghadapi cabaranMU...
kerana pendek akalku mengharungi ujianMu...
Ya Allah
Aku hanya ingin menjadi hamba yang di rahmati...
hamba yang dikasihi...hamba yang soleh....
Rabbanna atina fidunyia hassanah wafil akhiratti hassanah waqinna azabbannar

Amin...

Salam Ramadhan 1432H

"Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful."
[Al Baqarah (185)]

The Best of You

Olives are pressed to get useful oil,
Fruit are squeezed for tasty juice and
Flower are crushed for scented perfume.
Thus, if you feel "pressured",
Remember that it is Allah (the Most High), Who is getting the best of you.

Nisfu Syaaban 1432H

Nisfu Syaaban
(17 July 2011)

Lets us pray that may Allah SWT grants us all His blessings and love.
Let us all open another blissful chapter in life.
Life is indeed beautiful, why not make it sweeter.

Ya Allah
Please forgive me
for all the foul words I spoke
either out of ignorance or
because I was trying to be “cool.”

Ya Allah
Please forgive me
if I ever stopped to think about You,
due to “other important things.”

Ya Allah
Please forgive me
for not having enough time
or creating time for reading the Quran.

 Ya Allah
Please forgive me
for all the yelling I’ve done
and the arguments I’ve been in.
For the only time the voice should be raised is for Your Praises!

Ya Allah
Please forgive me
for my disrespect towards my family,
elders, siblings and friends.

Ya Allah
Please forgive me
for any backbiting I have been accused of,
whether I did it consciously or unconsciously.

Ya Allah
Forgive me for everything.
So for everyone,
every single Muslim,
dead or alive.

Ya Allah
I cannot stress how much I ask
for Your Forgiveness and Your Guidance.
Please increase our knowledge
of Your Deen and this world.
Please Help us all and guide us,
for You are Everything to us.

Amin

It's Been Too Long

So it's been too long since I last had a post on my blog. I have been busy with my life (studying + working). A lot has happened and I have lots of stuff I want to share, but lately, I find it’s easier and mostly quicker just sharing it on my Facebook. But I will update all the stuff in this blog later (don't know when). Right now, I really feel like to write something. I want to share things which difficult for me to say out loud and things people around me might not understand. But I don’t even know what to write about because I don’t even know what I’m feeling. I’m not really miserable, but I’m not happy. What to do? Ya Allah, how weak and helpless I feel right now. I am in such a helpless stage Ya Allah. Help me and give me ideas on how to solve this conflict. Amin.....

I Hate Lies

I hate lies. I hate lying and I hate when people lie to me. I hate all the hurt it causes. Lying is cheating. Lying is fabrication. Lying is manipulative. Lying is not allowing someone to place their trust and find security in you. If someone lies to me once I tend to mistrust anything they say then. Lies and liars can be cruel and mean. It maybe harsh but I won't be friends with people who lie because I can't trust them then. Anyway it is not nice. I just think lying is disrespectful. I mean, even if it was something I wasn't happy about, I would prefer to be told the truth. Life is confusing enough without having to deal with dishonesty. So please don't lie to me.

The Heart of The Qur'an

Surah Yasin is the most famous surah of the Qur’an after surah Al-Fatiha. How many of us know the meaning and explanation of the magnificent verses contained within it? The Messenger of Allah (s) has narrated many virtues that are unique to this surah and described it as the ‘heart of the Qur’an.’

Embark on a journey to understand the message and key themes of this chapter of the Quran. Learn about the universal message of Islam to mankind, the relation of past nations with their respective prophets, strategies of Satan, life after death, paradise and hellfire and the accountability of mankind on the Day of Judgement. Surah Yasin is a call to Allah’s unity, reflection on His power, and preparation for the inevitable meeting with Him.

Virtues of Surah Yasin:

Abu Hurairah narrates that the Messenger of Allah said:
"For everything there is a heart and the heart of the Quran is [surah] Yasin.” (Al-Bazzar)

Jundub Ibn Abdullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah said:
"Whosoever reads [surah] Yasin on a given night only with the intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah the Exalted, his sins are forgiven." (Ibn Hibban)

Ibn Abbas narrates that the Messenger of Allah said:
"My heart’s desire is that Surah Yasin should be present in the heart of every individual of my Ummah.” (Al-Bazzar)

1) To beautify your eyes, lower gaze towards strange men, this will make your eyes pure and shine.

2) To have an attractive lips, always speak the truth.

3) As for blush and rouge, modesty (haya') is the best brands and it can be found in any Islamic centers.

4) To remove impurities from your face and body, use a soap called istighfar.insyaAllah this soap will remove any bad deeds.

5) Now about your hair, if any of you has a problem of hair split ends, then i suggest Islamic hijab which will protect your hair from damage.

6) As for jewellery, beautify your hands with humbleness and let your hands be a power to forgive people who hurt your feelings. And the necklace should be a sign to pardon your fellow brothers and sisters.

Who I Am?

I am no good but always search for goodness.

"I am a traveler seeking the truth, a human searching for the meaning of humanity and a citizen seeking dignity, freedom, stability and welfare under the shade of Islam. I am a free man who is aware of the purpose of his existence and who proclaims: “Truly, my prayer and my sacrifice, my living and my dying are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds; no partner has He. This, am I commanded and I am of those who submit to His Will.” This is who I am. Who are you?"
(Hassan al-Banna)

whisper of d'Heart,

Change Your Life

Let's find out Fasting value of Ramadhan based on the 3 different perspective; Physical Health, Psychology, and Social Life:

1. In Physical, it helps you to improve your health
Imagine your bike never gets any regular service, tune up, or being washed. I believe that next year, we need a new one. If this happens to your body, there is no chain stores that provide body spare parts, is not it? Fasting give the body a break time regularly, for instance Ramadhan once a year. This month helps our body to renew cells with the new one. Fasting gives other benefits such as reducing the fat and blood sugar, because our body will take sugar from our blood when there is no glucose intake. Some scientist proves that fasting is able to increase body survival and increase live expectation. The experiment is implemented on a rat that is not feed one day and have a feed in other day. It has longer live comparing with the one that always feed up daily.

2. Psychologically, fasting build up emotion control and lust
Fasting insists human to control emotion well. It teaches people to take what they need instead of what they want. Take what you need about wealth, position, sex, food, beverage, etc. The point is to not be greedy. Life is a process, there is no short cut, you practice to run a whole day activities without eating and drinking and start your world life at night. Now you feel the excitement as the reward of your brave heart to get through the hard day.

3. The impact to social life
Are you hungry when having fast? Definitely, Every one who has fasting must be hungry. Is it comfort to be hungry? Totally no. If all answers are yes, people will compete to be the poor. Let's observe the zero point, you start to taste the poor people's feeling, they always live in in-comfort zone everyday, be sensitive, share your wealth as an alms giving. What for? In order to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor, for the shake of peaceful society, our belonging, and souls. You may have everything. But don't forget that the real wealth is just between your mouth and stomach, the rest is just pending belongings because it is possibly lost. The part of our wealth belongs to the poor, give to them wisely, through wise way to make them having a better life and more prosperous.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. And he who passes Lailat al-Qadr in prayer with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven (Bukhari, Muslim).
