"Sometimes I have to remove certain people from my life"
This doesn't apply to most people. Instead, it should only apply to people who repeatedly hurt me, manipulate me and lie to me or about me to others. It's foolish to expose myself to people who have proven themselves as not worthy of my trust. Being around them is like allowing them to continue their maltreatment. It can be hard and may seem mean but sometimes, it's the best thing to do.
